Laurinda has taught and cared for all three of our children. I will be sad when our youngest goes to kindergarten next year! She provides the perfect amount of structure/curriculum---the kids were all well prepared for kindergarten---but the home-based aspect gives it a more intimate, family feel. There is a schedule to each day, but with good flexibility.

The environment is bright and welcoming, with ample space to play in centers, have circle time, do art projects at the big round table, etc. The children play outside every day, weather permitting.

Laurinda is knowledgeable about child development (she has years of experience, plus coursework in early childhood) and is a great resource for us parents. She is patient and loving with the children, but maintains good order and structure too. I have never seen her lose her cool! She is also very dependable. I cannot recommend her more highly.

On our first trip to visit Ms. Laurinda's day care, we fell in love. My then 3 year old daughter, Anna, felt right at home and I was very comfortable with the environment that Ms. Laurinda created for the children. Throughout the time with Ms. Laurinda, Anna received individual attention and care and I always left knowing that she would be in a safe and loving environment. Ms. Laurinda was always very accommodating to our schedule and Anna's special dietary needs. We will miss her dearly and highly recommend Ms. Laurinda's care to any new parents!
