Thanksgiving

In the following weeks the children will be learning all about the very first Thanksgiving.

They will develop concepts of then and now, compare Pilgrims and Indians lives with us now and discuss the food that we eat on Thanksgiving Day. Where does it come from? How does it grow? How do we get it?

We will be reading a selection of books related to Thanksgiving and do arts and crafts to illustrate what they are learning.
